Shelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Exercise Science from the University of New England in 2016, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2019. Throughout school, she diversified herself by completing her clinicals in the subacute, school-based pediatric, and outpatient physical therapy settings in clinics all over New England. After graduation, Shelly started working in Portland, Maine at a skilled nursing facility where she grew to love working with the geriatric population. Although Shelly is new to our team, we have known her for many years. In 2012, Shelly completed her first physical therapy job shadow experience at our Cornish facility, Foothills Physical Therapy, and then did an internship in 2015 at our clinic in Waterboro, Maine, Massabesic Health Resources.

Shelly is extremely outgoing, and always has a smile on her face. When Shelly is not at work, she loves to be outdoor enjoying the weather and to hike with her two Australian Cattle Dogs. In the summer, you can often find her bass fishing from a kayak.
